gee. new builds, unlocking as much as possible, tombs, questing titans, new SF expansion, playing with friends. special event comradely, build of the month discovery, underworld, fissure, making custom quests for my guild. recruiting for my guild, and overall enjoyment of playing a MMORPG without having to shell out a fortune.

thats the short list of my reasons to continue playing it. Since that may not be enough for you ... I do have good news...

I just saved a bunch of money by switching to GEICO. Yea baby... You can do it...

I play because I enjoy it. I have a guild that is made up of primarily adults and we keep it that way by using the boot when necessary. We have a great time whether it be PvE or PvP. I enjoy helping my guildies level up their extra toons ( I think I have helped run the ascension missions 20 times in the past couple of weeks). I enjoy going in PvP and getting whacked by the build of the month. I enjoy going to FoW and UW and getting whacked by everything. I enjoy Farming and Running. It's a great game. If your attention span isn't long enough to see all the diversity in GW then you need to go get a PS2 game or something. I would wager that most of the "I played for a month and got bored" crowd never saw the Rotscale in Majesty's Rest or explored Dragon's Gulch or any of the other really cool places that are off the beaten path in this game. I have probably 99% of the map uncovered with my main toon and as soon as I find that other 1% I'll go there. This game can be SO much more than some people allow it to be.

i keep playing becasue people come to this game and farm for 600 hours, and then try pvp once. then i slay them and get faction fame and guild rank.
j/k
becasue its fun. i do pvp and pve and explore in both. in pve i explore the maps and in pvp i explore strange new builds/groups. sometimes to be pwnd and sometimes to do the pwning.

i have to say one of my favorte things about GW is gettin in tombs (or a pickup gvg) and getting on their TS server and meeting interesting people from all over the world. i have been on servers where only one other person spoke english as a second language and it had to be translated. i can understand a bit of french and a bit o spanish so it wasn that bad. i now know people from scotland, korea, austrailia, the uk and just about anywhere else.

the only country i really havent kicked it with in GW is poland. you guys need to start representin!

Contact this grp of uber l33t players to kill glint immediately, they always online and will come to your aid ASAP. I've had to use them last time I killed glint.

arghh.... I'm so late to the party.

What keeps me playing? The fact that I can stop uninstall/ reinstall and play for anytime I get bored of my other games..... and not have to worry about what I missed or a monthly charge.

try another character class. all the classes give you a different perspective of the game. get involved in a friendly guild, chatting and doing all sorts of pvp and pve things together is awesome. in fact, i've been playing since aug, and i just now got into pvp. im about to get another account so i can try out the other 2 classes i havent made yet...and when the expansion comes out with new classes, i'll have slots for them. maybe guild wars just isnt your type of game....

Despite the apparent flamebait, the OP doesn't mention if the enjoyed the game the month he played. I mean so what, if someone plays for a month or a year.

I dunno I enjoy the game only in small amounts, but I don't think that's a bad thing. Buut I also like to play games through without help with one character...which makes me sorta a GW mutant.

Where did I say I was skilled? I said it was fun fighting them and losing, but winning was also fun.

Well, just set goals for myself

1) get 15k armor or higher for all 4 characters (1 more character left)
R/Mo
E/R
Me/Mo
N/Mo *needs armor*

2) get to rank 10 (rank 4 ATM ) (I am more of a pve player)

3) Help out my guildmates if they want somthing or need a mission

4) Finish all Bonusus (almost finished)

5) Finish all optional quests

Another dumb thread from the average I-have-too-much-time-to-waste Joe?
You know, those guys are generally very young teenagers (14-15 yrs old) with behavioral issues and so fat that Israel's prime minister Ariel Sharon is skinny compared to them.

Looks like someone is in desperate need of World of Grindcraft here.

By the way, here's something that can help anyone writing stupid threads on forums. If anyone reading this has written or is writing an annoying, pointless post/thread somewhere, well, he should follow the link. It refers to another forum, but that doesn't make a difference, as it's a list of basic principles.
(I'm sure someone will say that my post is useless just for the sake of it.)
